Maple Leaf Orthopedics and Spine is pleased to have Dr. Andrew Roberts as a member of its staff. Andrew Roberts, MD, is a board-certified physician in Anesthesiology and Anesthesiology Interventional Spine. He is also fellowship-trained in Neurosurgery in Endoscopic Spine Surgery.
Dr. Roberts majored in both Biology and Anthropology at Southern Methodist University. He then received his medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Roberts completed his Internship and Residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. After residency, he received his Fellowship in Interventional Spine from Texas Tech University. Dr. Roberts pursued private practice, but in 2016 was selected by the University of New Mexico’s Department of Neurosurgery as their first Fellow in Endoscopic Spine Surgery.
Dr. Roberts’ additional training makes him uniquely qualified to present options for patients from an interventional and surgical perspective.
