Franklin "Pete" Sloan, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Mr. Pete Sloan is a Certified Physician's Assistant at Maple Leaf Orthopedics. He is highly trained in the area of Orthopedics, working in this field for 25 years. He has been with Dr. Danylchuk for over 10 years.
Mr. Sloan received his education at University of Texas Health Science, San Antonio, TX. Here he received a Bachelor's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Sloan is also a proud member of the US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) and the National Guard. He was recently promoted to Major. He has served tours of duty all over the world, including Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The physicians and staff at Maple Leaf Orthopedics are very proud of the service he continues to give to our country.
Mr. Sloan is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He is trained as an Instructor in Basic Life Support and Combat Casualty Care. He has also achieved an Army Commendation Medal, Colorado Meritorious Service Medal and two United States Army Achievement Medals. He lives in Pueblo with his wife and three children and enjoys hunting, fishing and camping in his off time.
Mr. Sloan assists Dr. Danylchuk by helping to treat patients in the office, as well as assisting in surgery. His experience in orthopedic surgery makes him an invaluable asset in both areas.
Mr. Sloan has active privileges at Parkview Medical Center and Saint Mary-Corwin Medical Center.
